Architecture as Pedagogy

Architecture as Pedagogy is a pedagogical-research project by Ali Javid to identify, draw and define pedagogies which emerged during socio-political changes, and expanded the boundaries of architecture discipline.

PEDAGOGY FOR ARCHITECTURE

In this Persian-language video, I discuss my research on architectural pedagogies that challenge and expand the disciplinary boundaries of architecture. Focusing on experimental teaching models, transdisciplinary approaches, and critical engagements with history and theory, the talk explores how education can become a site of architectural innovation. I examine how certain pedagogical practices not only question the conventional limits of architectural knowledge but also reimagine its role in addressing social, cultural, and environmental urgencies.
